“I Did My Best” was created in Sayulita, Mexico during one of the hardest periods of my life. I was isolated, grieving the loss of my father, the collapse of a long-standing business, and the aftermath of a brutal relationship that left me unable to return home.

This piece was a reminder I made for myself—to keep going when I felt mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted. It marked the moment I stopped blaming the world and began taking responsibility, learning from my past, and starting the difficult work of forgiving myself.

This canvas is raw and unfiltered, just like the message. A reminder that surviving a hard season is still an act of strength.
